Houston, Texas is the center of southern comfort food. It’s no surprise that this seafood restaurant is receiving all the buzz in the city. Krab Queenz Seafood and Daiquiris is the hottest new restaurant in SW Houston and people are lining up to get some of the best cajun seafood around. Owned by Kwaylon Rogers (TiTi ) and Tonique Clay, the duo has brought the real taste of Louisiana/Florida style cuisine to the Bayou City. I heard that the food was amazing and being a Louisiana native myself; I had to stop by and see what the buzz of delicious Cajun food was all about .
The menu was filled with so many delights. Fried seafood platters which consist of the fried catfish and gulf shrimp on a bed of fries with toasted garlic bread. Can’t forget about the Crawfish, Seafood & Waffles, Boudain Balls, and my favorite “Just Crabs” boiled platter that comes with two snow crabs, one corn, boiled egg, sausage and potatoes.
Krab Queenz is a spot that is jumping from open to close. As soon as you walk in, there’s a DJ spinning tunes from hip 90’s joints to r&b to trap/rap. It’s LIT. Great food, music, wait staff, and the daiquiris are beyond delicious. I’ve been back twice since my first visit. There’s a bit of a wait , but it’s well worth it. I can truly say I enjoyed every moment I spent there even with the place being packed to capacity.
